Our mission
The Bastrop Travis Counties Association of Professional Firefighters exists to advocate for the rights, safety, and dignity of our members. We are committed to strong representation, professional standards, and responsible nonprofit action in service of those who serve our communities.
Our vision
We envision a future where every firefighter in Bastrop and Travis Counties is treated with dignity, protected by fair contracts, and supported throughout their career. We strive for a professional culture built on respect, collaboration, and strength in unity—one where firefighters have the tools and resources they need to serve their communities with pride and purpose.

Behind every fireground, negotiation, and advocacy effort is a team dedicated to serving our members. From the front lines to leadership, our officers are active firefighters working to protect the interests of their peers. The Bastrop Travis Counties Association of Professional Firefighters is led by full-time members who know the job and the challenges firsthand.
